The fruity, woody scent feels lush, thanks to black cherry, mandarin orange, and rose centifolia, but it also gets a kick from jasmine absolute, leather-like styrax (a small shrub) and labdanum (another leather- and peppery-smelling teeny shrub), while saffron, vanilla, and patchouli provide a little edge and mystery. Finally, carrot and pink pepper add just the right amount of unexpected, nose-tingling spiciness. This is one floral scent that’s definitely not for wallflowers. |
